When and where do we meet?
Life-Groups meet in host homes once a week during the school year (October – June). The time and day the group meets is determined by what works best for the particular group. By meeting in homes, we make SSM San Clemente seem a little smaller and more personal.
What will we be studying?
Being involved in a Life-Group will be an awesome time to grow closer to God. What better way to do that than by connecting with other students, readying and studying the Bible? Topics include: salvation, prayer, following God, making good decisions, studying the Bible, dealing with temptation, and more.
What does a Typical Life-Group night look like?
Each group has its own flavor, but a typical night at your Life-Group home will look something like this: welcome/hang-out time, game/ice-breaker, Bible study/discussion, prayer time, snack/hang-out time.
What is the Life-Group Commitment?
Being part of a Life-Group is a privilege. We ask each Life-Group student to commit to the following:
What about my leader?
SSM San Clemente has incredible, trained adult volunteers who are ready to serve and teach junior high and high school students. From High School seniors to parents of junior highers, we have a dedicated team of volunteers who are excited to work with you. Our leaders are there to encourage, teach, guide, and help you strengthen your walk with Christ. It may turn out to be the most significant relationship of your junior high and High school years.
How much does it cost?
Life-Group registration fee is FREE. This includes a Life-Group notebook and Life-Group curriculum. There may be additional costs throughout the year for various activities.
How do I get involved?
Fill out the entire registration form (front and back) on the following page and submit it to Brian Ong at either the weekend service or at the church office before registration ends. The entire form must be filled out in order for you to be considered for Life-Group.
