Do I have to be a member of Saddleback Church to work here?
Yes, if you currently live in the area of any of our campuses, you are expected to meet the minimum membership requirements before applying for a position.  If you live outside the area, we will consider your application providing you have been a member at your current church for four months or more. You will still be expected to complete Saddleback Church’s membership requirements as soon as possible.

What are the membership requirements?
Members of our church have completed CLASS 101 been baptized by immersion, and signed the Membership Agreement.

Do students have to be members?
Yes!  If you are a high school student, the High School Ministry Class 101 will be accepted for hiring purposes.  High school students who are hired will be required to take the next adult Class 101 that is offered.  High school students must be baptized by immersion.

College students must complete the adult Class 101, be baptized by immersion, and sign the Membership Agreement.

 

Children’s baptism class and Children’s 101 do not fulfill the Class 101 requirement for hiring purposes.

Within each job posting is a link to our application.  Click it, and you will begin the application process.  If that’s not convenient for you, you are welcome to stop in the Ministry Office during regular business hours to pick up a copy of the application.

How do I volunteer?
There are so many great opportunities for you to use your SHAPE through volunteering!  Human Resources does not coordinate volunteers, but we encourage you to visit the Serve page to get started! 

How can I get other help with my job search?
Have you taken CLASS 301?  This is a great step in figuring out how God has SHAPEd you for service and for your career.  Our Career Coaching Ministry is a place where you can meet people who help each other in their career search.  This ministry is available to you, even if you are not a member of Saddleback Church!
