What will the completed project be like? The property will hold 1,500 people per weekend service with outdoor venues that will include an open-air café, playground, and waterfall baptismal- each surrounded by the beautiful vistas of the Belle Colina golf course. During the week all children, student, and adult programming will meet here.
When does it open? The public “Grand Opening” is Easter 2013. This will mark the 7-year anniversary of our San Clemente campus.
What does it cost? Thankfully Saddleback is not building the property from the ground up. Through donations, Saddleback San Clemente is investing $4.5M to make the facility usable as a church.
What are the immediate financial goal? The entire project costs $4.5M. On Thanksgiving 2012, cash contributions (not what has been committed) will be tallied and construction will begin. The project will be developed to the extent of cash given. Any remaining construction will be completed in phases after the Grand Opening on Easter 2013.
"Where is the property? The address is 1311 Calle Batido, San Clemente, CA 92673. It is ideally located off Avenida Pico with convenient street access. In the near future, thousands of homes will have direct access to the building when the La Pata/Antonio project is completed.
