Our Child Dedication is a celebration where parents commit to raise their child to one day know Jesus Christ and help them to grow in their faith. The class is held in the Saddleback Kids Leader Room. The Child Dedication will be held at the beginning of the 11:00 a.m. service on Sunday, June 24, 2012. This is a wonderful time for your church family to support you and pray for you as parents. The Child Dedication Class is a requirement in order to participate in the dedication. Ever wonder what crazy, fun shenanigans occur in Wildside, our Junior High Ministry? Well, wonder no longer!

You and your future 7th grader are invited to a one night event at the Irvine Ministry Office to meet and greet the Student Ministries team. Join us for Walk on the Wildside on Tuesday, June 12th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Irvine Ministry Office.

Our Saddleback Kids Children's Ministry is supporting you and your incoming 7th grader in your journey from one ministry to another. We'll help you to understand ways to keep your student connected to their faith while they mature. Students will also have the opportunity to meet the Saddleback Student Ministries (SSM) Team and play awesome games...they might even win a SSM t-shirt! You'll have the opportunity to sign them up for summer camp and C-groups for the fall (the next step after Kids Small Group).

We are so excited to collaborate with you during your child's transition from 6th grade to junior high. We look forward to seeing you and your incoming 7th grader on June 12th!

All kids going into Kindergarten through 6th grade move up to the new grade they'll be in this fall. All ages promote the same day in order to balance our ratios of leaders to kids. 7/1/2012 12:00:00 AM Kids Small Groups Irvine Sign Ups Begin!

Sunday, July 1st is the first day to sign your child up for Kids Small Groups on the Irvine Campus! Kids Small Groups (KSG) is the small group discipleship program for the children of Saddleback Church Irvine. The curriculum is call, "The Journey" because we believe that spiritual discipleship is a life-long journey! There are two primary divisions of age groups: Pre-K to Grade 2 and Grades 3 through 6. The curriculum for the Pre-K to Grade 2 students focuses on introducing kids to a relationship with God and what it means to be part of the church. The kids learn about character traits as the Bible comes to life in their small group. They'll build lasting relationships with their friends and leaders as they meet with the same group each week. As they grow, their eyes will be opened to the amazing and limitless love that God has to offer them. The curriculum for the Grades 3 to 6 students is based on an intentional process of discipleship as they grow in a children's version of Saddleback's CLASS. All kids, regardless of age or grade, begin in Children's 101 as they recognize and learn more about their relationship with Jesus. Children's 201 challenges kids to dig deeper in their faith through spiritual disciplines. Next, students will assess their own SHAPE and how God can use them to serve in ministry in Children's 301. Our last book brings the kids full circle in Children's 401 as they are challenged to share Jesus through their testimonies, learning about a country they could visit on a PEACE trip and on a one-day mission trip to help others. We need adult leaders to share The Journey with us! Please consider joining us! We will train you and you'll be surprised how rewarded you'll be as you grow in your faith as well. (It is not a requirement to lead your child's group. You may lead a different age group, if you'd like. Saddleback Kids Baptism Class is for elementary age children (generally grades 3 through 6) who have accepted Christ as their Savior. This class is a prerequisite for children who wish to be baptized at Saddleback Church. We will discuss salvation, baptism and how children can begin to grow in their Christian walk. After the class, your child will receive a personal interview with a member of our Saddleback Kids leadership team. To make the class as beneficial as possible, we require at least one parent attend with their child. No pre-registration is required. Questions?
