Here's one example of how people are being impacted by Good Neighbor just five minutes from our Lake Forest campus.
Being a Good Neighbor is something you and your small group or family can do on a regular basis. Read the 1-2-3 Serve doc to learn how you can find ways, both big and small, to make a difference in your own neighborhood.
Good Neighbor - Lake Forest
Inspired by Jesus’ call to “love your neighbor,” Good Neighbor Lake Forest is investing in the transformation of two Lake Forest communities for the sake of the gospel. From “Serve Days” of helping residents with home, yard, and handyman projects, to community-building events and encouraging seniors who may be feeling limited or lonely, we would love to have you join us in reaching out to our Lake Forest neighbors!

Good Neighbor - Laguna Hills
Aliso Meadows is a family community where we have LOTS of opportunity to make a difference. Working with the HOA, local residents, and Saddleback Ministries and Small Groups, we look to serve families in this community by beautifying the neighborhood, befriending the kids, and serving the residents.

Good Neighbor - San Clemente
The Campana Canaste residents in San Clemente have decided that graffiti, gang activity, and crime are not going to be tolerated in their seaside neighborhood. The Sherriff’s Department, the District Attorney’s Office, the School District, AND Saddleback, through a program called GRIP, (Gang Reduction Intervention Partnership), are partnering to love and to serve kids who are at-risk. This is an amazing program that we have been involved with county-wide, and a proven success story in turning around the lives of kids by improving test scores, attendance, behavior, and keeping kids OUT of gangs.

Good Neighbor Compton
In the 5 years that Saddleback volunteers and leaders have been serving alongside other church partners in Compton, crime rates have plummeted. By starting with a simple concept, cleaning up/painting neighborhoods, street by street, block by block, we have seen transformation. God is moving in Compton and beyond, as other communities want what Compton has!
