Under a bright blue sky, Pastor Rick, the mayor of Lake Forest, other dignitaries and the staff of Saddleback Church attended the ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony for Saddleback Church’s historic PEACE Center.

Hope for the Holidays is a partnership between Saddleback Church, Albertsons grocery stores, and G.R.I.P. (Gang Reduction and Intervention Partnership). This program provides holiday meals to families of at-risk youth, as well as families in need from our local community.

The first six months of Decade of Destiny have seen major growth, development and miracles in our church! The Saddleback leadership team describes how God has been working in the different areas of the church including membership, PEACE, student ministries, church planting, and more.

On Memorial Day, more than 2,400 volunteers gathered at Rancho Capistrano campus to clean, repair and beautify the campus. See the droves of volunteers, young and old, as they work to spruce up the campus and enjoy a Memorial Day barbecue at beautiful Rancho Capistrano.

More than 150 people converged upon the Lake Forest campus in an Easter-themed flash mob. The Saddleback dancers joined with churches across the globe and performed The Resurrection Dance to the surprise and delight of stunned onlookers.

The Lord's Prayer pulses with new life through the exquisite illustrations of award-winning artist Richard Jesse Watson, and simple, yet insightful commentary by bestselling author Rick Warren. Watson's use of vibrant color and detailed imagery beautifully captures the essence of Jesus' words to his disciples, and Warren's thoughtful words help make the King James Version of this prayer come alive for readers young and old.

Last weekend, 403 people responded to Pastor Rick's spontaneous call to Just Do It and be baptized. In doing so they made a public statement of their faith and proclaimed God's power in their lives. What's preventing you from being baptized?

As we reflect back on the miracle of Easter weekend, we praise God for over 1,300 people giving their lives over to him for the first time, close to 700 new small groups formed, over 600 baptisms, and nearly 65,000 pounds of food collected. Glorify him for using our church in extraordinary ways!
