Getting Involved

We are excited you are checking out the Saddleback Kids volunteer opportunities at Saddleback Church.  This section will introduce you to our Children’s Ministry and the many ways you can get involved.  We can help you find where you can use your God-given gifts and talents to invest in the lives of children.  Your first step to get involved is to attend a Saddleback Kids New Leader Orientation class.

Orientations

A prerequisite for all Saddleback Kids Volunteer Leaders!

Orientation classes are held on our Saddleback campus on the weekend or in our Saddleback Kids offices by appointment during the week.  Orientation class will give you an overview of our Children’s Ministry, the expectations of serving in Saddleback Kids and the various opportunities available to serve and invest in the lives of children.

Here are just a few of the reasons our volunteers love to serve in Saddleback Kids.

“I feel led to serve in Saddleback Kids because:
Having a secure and loving place for parents to leave their children
so they can concentrate on the message each week is so
necessary. We've also had lots of laughs over the years quoting some
of the kids' comments and situations in each room (2 and 3, year
olds)! I believe, at this age, that we are ‘planting the seeds’ for
their future growth in Christianity.”

“Well who doesn’t think kids are fun? If you don’t think kids are fun you shouldn’t be serving in Saddleback Kids. Not only are the kids fun, but the volunteers are always a blast to be around and with the great Saddleback Kids staff we never have a dull moment! I believe that it is a special privilege to be able to serve with so many incredible people and to bring God’s love and God’s stories alive to some many kids each week.”
