Our Children’s Ministry Vision Statement
"Connecting Kids to God an Others"
Our goal is to connect kids to God by winning them to Christ and then growing them spiritually. We realize this can be achieved best through relationships: Connecting kids with adult leaders who have a passion for investing in the lives of children and providing opportunities for kids to connect with each other!
Our Children’s Ministry Mission Statement
Our children’s ministry is based on two very important passages in the Bible.
The Great Commandment says
“Teacher, which command in the law is the most important?” Jesus answered, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind. This is the first and most important command. And the second command is like the first: Love your neighbor as you love yourself. All the law and the writings in the prophets depend on these two commands.”
Matthew 22:36-40
The Great Commission says
So go and make followers of all people in the world. Baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach them to obey everything that I have told you. You can be sure that I will be with you always. I will continue with you until the end of the world.
Matthew 28:19-20
From these two passages, we see five purposes of the church and of our Children’s Ministry at Saddleback Church:

Our Mission Statement is based on these five purposes of the church:
Our Children's Ministry exists to bring children into age-appropriate WORSHIP where they can BELONG to the family of God, GROW in their relationship with Christ, learn to SERVE and then go SHARE Christ in the world!
