Food Pantry
Our community continues to face very difficult financial circumstances, and many are unable to provide for the needs of their families. Saddleback Church desires to help people in need in our community, so we established the Saddleback Church Food Pantry in the spring of 2009.
The response from the members of Saddleback Church has been overwhelming. Each month, volunteers serve well over 2,000 hours so that we can help 800-900 families, giving them hope, purpose, and food. The Food Pantry has been able to help over 100,000 people since it opened, and the number of families for which Saddleback is providing food is growing.
The Church has placed collection barrels all around the Lake Forest campus, and many church members continue to bring in donations of food. Unfortunately, it is not enough to cover the growing need of those who are having difficulty affording food. Please help us serve our community by bringing a food item with you every time you come to church. Just drop it in a blue barrel on your way into service. Thank you!
Our Saddleback Church Food Pantry has already helped tens of thousands of families in our community, but we can’t continue to do it without you! If you’re interested in donating, you can shop, and then drop the items off in the blue barrels on the weekend. Or, if you don’t have time to shop, please consider making a financial donation to the Pantry above and beyond your tithe. You can do that by
clicking here, or by putting a check made out to Saddleback in the offering basket with “Food Pantry” in the memo line.
We are here to help anyone who needs food. All we require is that a visitor fill out an application and show photo ID. Food is available to a household once every 30 days.
