Orphans
A Signature ministry of Saddleback Church
Be a part of encouraging and equipping churches to develop God's Heart for the Orphan. These efforts empower pastors and congregations to care for children and provide families for orphans and vulnerable children.
Also, if you have a passion for soccer you can use your passion in a soccer program that is designed to reach orphans and vulnerable children and prevent future children from begin orphaned through practical life-skills training.

Western Rwanda Healthcare
A Signature ministry of Saddleback Church
What if you were one of the visionaries that helped invent an entirely new way of making healthcare accessible to billions of people? The good news is, you actually DO have the opportunity to be a part of this breakthrough. You can be a pioneer. You can be in on the ground floor of the Western Rwanda HIV/AIDS Healthcare Initiative that will potentially affect the lives of 600,000 Rwandans in the Karongi District of the Western Province.

Church Planting
Currently 1.2 billion people in the world do not have access to the message of Jesus Christ.
Your involvement in this initiative will help plant churches in communities where a church does not exist and will help churches around the world to equip their members to reach out to their friends, neighbors, coworkers and classmates in their own community.
Currently we have church planting efforts taking place in Rwanda, India, Sri Lanka, Europe, Mexico and Central America.
Education
The Education Initiative focuses on 3 key categories:
- Illiteracy
Empower churches to become a reading and writing teaching center for their community.
- Starting Preschools (Helping Slumkids)
Teach churches how to use their church building and church members to give young
children a head start in education. Many of these kids are living in the slums and currently
have no hope of getting an education.
- Teaching English
Train a church to teach English to people who have learned another primary language but
want to improve their life through developing English language skills.

Justice & Trafficking
You can help churches in other countries to care and respond to issues that affect the voiceless, helpless, and oppressed. Millions are suffering from things such as property grabbing, human trafficking or simply a lack of efficient training.

Peace Relief
The PEACE Relief initiative focuses on enabling and preparing the body of Christ at a personal, local and global level to serve God by assisting others in a time of disaster. We seek to empower the local church wherever we are called; to comfort the hurting, give hope to the hopeless and to move the survivors through the local church from relief to recovery to development with care and compassion.

Persecution
Every day millions of Christians around the world face the reality of possibly losing their homes and/or families to persecution by a government or a rival religious sect. Join this initiative to be a part of the prayer and advocacy that is taking place for the Persecuted Church.

Poverty
You can be a part of empowering churches in other countries to help the poor through self-help savings groups, micro-enterprise development, business development, and other vocational training such as agriculture and animal science.

Purpose Driven
There are ways you can help provide training in the Purpose Driven Church, Purpose Driven© Life, Small Groups, S.H.A.P.E., Celebrate Recovery and other church health topics to pastors and their lay leaders. Your experience and presence will help them to understand what it means to be Purpose Driven and what steps they can take to become a healthier church.

Water
It's sobering to think that unsafe drinking water limits life for almost 1 billion people on our planet. This PEACE initiative seeks to provide education to churches in other countries about germs, disease transmission and preventive health care measures. They also help churches test for water contamination, identify purifier sites and install purifier systems.

Healthcare
You can help empower churches in other countries to identify the healthcare needs of their community and work with them to build plans to make a lasting impact on those who are suffering from sickness and disease.
Currently we have a focused healthcare effort taking place in western Rwanda. Through these PEACE efforts 20,000 adults and 70,000 children now have access to primary healthcare. Other healthcare projects will soon be starting in other countries around the world.
