Our Interns are responsible for a huge part of ministry to our church.
They play key roles on the teams they are serving on, and are treated as any other paid staff member.
We have found that it is important that the interns don’t only do the work that the staff members don’t want to do; the intern should be included in any meeting the staff member is having, included on all the projects the staff member is part of, and be learning the ins and outs of the job the staff member does.
By the end of the process, the intern should fully know how to run the ministry in which they have served so they can return to their home church or a new church to develop and support the respective ministry.
