Saddleback is looking for young people who want to be leaders, not just in the future, but TODAY. This church believes that college students are not the future of the church, they ARE the church, and you can be a leader now.
In the Leadership Internship, you will be given projects that require leadership. You will be responsible for managing people, coordinating across departments, and solving problems. Not only will you develop your leadership skills, you will learn servant leadership, the biblical model of leadership. As a servant leader, you can serve and lead people wherever God calls you.
Here's what you'll be doing as a Leadership Intern:
- Projects
- Guide a project from start to finish, whether it be a marketing campaign or a weekly newsletter series
- Take on a current project and see it to completion
- Look at a failed project and try it differently
- Turn a successful project into a needed program
- Short-term assignments
- Coordinate with departments to determine needs
- Act as liaison for assignments between departments
- Pull together resources to complete complex tasks
- Program Development
- Work with a team to start, develop, or enhance a program
- Take vision from leader and make it tangible
- Determine the appropriate steps to achieve the desired goal
