Q:
Do I need to live locally?
A: Yes. Since the work you will do is hands-on and team-related, you will need to be within driving distance of Saddleback Church's main office in Lake Forest, CA.
Q.
Is this a paid internship?
A: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer payment to interns at this time. However, all resources required to fulfill your job effectively will be provided for you.
Q:
Do I have to attend Saddleback or be a member in order to become an intern?
A: We do not require that you currently attend Saddleback or become a member. However, we would love for you to join the membership of our church and worship weekly with us!
Q:
Are there specific lengths or dates for the internship program?
A: Saddleback is always taking in interns, so we are flexible to your availability. We ask that you stay for a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 6 months. During that time, we would expect you would be available most of the time, with some allowance to take off for vacations or other events.
Q:
What will be expec
ted of me as an intern?
A: You will be valued and treated and as every other member of our staff. You will be given both responsibility and respect.
Q:
How I receive academic credit for this internship?
A: Check with the department of your major. Most universities offer credit for summer internships, and Saddleback is more than happy to tailor your internship to your school's requirements.
Q:
Is participation in this internship limited to a specific major?
A: All majors are welcome to apply. However, we ask that you possess some skills and passion for the specific internship you choose to apply for.
Q:
Who do I contact with my questions?
A: You may email Kyle at
kylec@saddleback.com
