Director of Children’s Ministry - part time

This position will ensure that the Saddleback Kids program is offered at all weekend services at the Anaheim campus.  Included in these responsibilities are program preparation, room set-up and tear-down, parent communication, and volunteer recruitment.  In addition to weekend services, this position coordinates infant dedications, child baptisms, and summer special events.

Candidates for this position should ideally have solid experience in children's ministry, the ability to independently solve problems, and a love for volunteer team development.  Education in children's ministry and/or early childhood development is preferred.

LAKE FOREST CAMPUS

Stepping Stones Leader - Part Time (Monday through Thursday mornings, Friday evenings, and one Saturday morning per month)

The Stepping Stones program provides care for children while their parents attend events at the Lake Forest campus. Leaders interact with parents and children and oversee the care and spiritual growth of the children in the program. Leaders are also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the classrooms during and after the program.

Candidates must have experience caring for and educating young children. The ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and coworkers is essential.

Food Pantry Volunteer Coordinator - part time

The Food Pantry is one of Saddleback's largest and fastest growing ministries, serving thousands of families in Orange County.  This position supports the vision of the ministry by recruiting and encouraging volunteers, scheduling and coordinating local food pickups, connecting with people on the phone, in person, and via email, and supporting all these activities with good administrative follow-through.

To be successful in this position, candidates will first have a heart for the people in need in our community.  Computer proficiency, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment are also required.

Worship Arts Team Associate - full time

Are you that special blend of someone who loves music but also has a passion for administrative detail?  Our Worship Arts team has a spot for someone to handle database management, filing, rehearsal preparation, copyrights, and many other special projects.

To be successful in this position, you will need experience in a fast-paced office environment where things change quickly.  This position requires the successful completion of some computer skills assessments.  In addition to administrative skills, this position requires people skills in coordinating volunteers and interns.  The ability to read music and a college degree are preferred.

Bookstore Team Associate - part time, weekends

Do you love working with people?  Do you love books and resources?  If you said YES, we have a perfect opportunity for you.  We are currenly looking for passionate people to work in the Pavilion before and after weekend services.  This role will allow you to provide resources to church members and guests, to provide superior customer service, and to work in a team environment.

The right person for this job will have a welcoming smile, time to serve on the weekends, and the ability to pass a fairly basic test on cash handling.

Kids Small Groups Coordinator - full time, including evenings

The Kids Small Groups Coordinator is responsible for sustaining a mid-week small groups program of excellence for children, Pre-K through 2nd grade.  This includes: setting up the classrooms, supervising a part time staff member, providing resources to volunteers for each age group, enlisting and training new volunteers, and leading large group worship for each service time.  The Coordinator also supports Saddleback Kids special events and the weekend Saddleback Kids staff when needed.

Education in early childhood development or children's ministry is desired.  Though seminary is not required, it is highly recommended.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is required.  Above all, candidates must have a love for growing volunteer leaders, discipling children, and connecting with parents.

Facilities Team Associate - part time

This position is part of a team that provides the campus ministries with all facilities needs by providing set-up and tear-down for events. This position is also responsible for reporting any improvements or repairs needed on the physical aspects and features of the church campus.This position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast paced, frequently changing environment. This team is in frequent contact with staff, vendors, church members, and volunteers, so a friendly, servant-hearted attitude is essential.

Pastor of Community PEACE - Full Time

This position will lead, build and expand all key areas of the PEACE plan across Southern California by establishing proven and reproducible models of volunteer-led service, targeted at :

  • Promoting reconciliation
  • Equipping servant leaders
  • Assisting the poor
  • Caring for the sick, and
  • Educating the next generation

In this position you will use your gifts to build systems and strategies to mobilize thousands of volunteers annually to serve in our community. You will design and deploy communication channels to increase awareness of Community PEACE efforts and opportunities to members, small groups, families, churches, businesses, schools, and cities. As a key ministry leader, you will care for, train, affirm, and supervise Community PEACE staff, interns, and key volunteers.

Top candidates will have previous leadership experience with local missions and volunteers, previous team building experience working with large groups of people, and solid Bible training.

Audio Specialist - Part Time

This part time position will be responsible for the operation and general maintenance of all technical equipment relating to audio and will serve as a direct contact for many Saddleback ministries as it related to their audio needs. This person will recruit and train volunteers.

Some experience maintaining and troubleshooting A/V equipment is highly desired. Candidates for this position must be equally comfortable working as part of a team and independently. A knowledge of basic electronic maintenance is preferred, including soldering and metering of electrical levels.

Print Specialist - Part Time

This position will be responsible for printing on all of the presses in the Print Shop to provide print materials for all Saddleback campuses. The position is also responsible for pre-press work such as plating, developing film, bindery work, etc. Maintaining and cleaning of the equipment is also required.

A solid work history in press operation is required. Candidates must be mechanically inclined, comfortable with computers, and have the ability to work on tight deadlines.
