We're off to a great start --- this weekend we had over 300 items donated for our Backpacks for the Homeless

Food Items: Water Bottle, Snacks (Raisins, Nuts, Candy), Hot Chocolate, Cookies, Gift Certificates to McDonald's or Starbucks, etc...

Clothing Items: Sweatshirt, T-Shirt, Underwear, Socks, Jacket, Rain Poncho, Warm Hat, etc...

Personal Care Items: Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Breath Mints, Lotion, Soap, Shampoo, Wash Cloth, Comb, Brush, Chapstick, etc...

Miscellaneous Items: Stationary & Stamps, Radio, Book, Magazine, Watch, First Aid Kit, Phone Card, etc...

I know it's raining right now, but we're accepting more donations all week at the Refiery, just pop by during 'office hours' and drop off some more stuff.

We'll be preparing backpacks during the Dec. 21st FUSE service which is going to be amazing ...

Having a hard time thinking of what to get? Well below is a list of about 100 items of the 300 total last night --- take a look --- get some ideas --- and lets really show the love of FUSE.

ARgh! So sorry I missed you guys.. I arrived at the Refinery around 8:15 and sounds like you just left. I had brought a bunch of personal care items - Walmart! Blankets and jackets.... I left them with the girls in the information booth. They mentioned maybe they could be used for the Skid Row outreach... I hope they can go to good use! Please let us know what the final count is on the items! How many backpacks did we fill?

What is Fuse?
Fuse is our newest venue for young adults ages 20s and 30s. Join us on Sunday evenings in the Refinery main auditorium for live teaching, worship, food, and relationship building. All of this and more, packed into a shorter service.

Fuse has live teaching with Doug Fields speaking, he re-teachs Pastor Rick's weekend message. The Refinery has food service available before and after the service ... So come early, eat dinner and develop and deepen some relationships!

Give it a try with your friends, co-workers, small group, and anyone else who you think would enjoy something different. It’s also a perfect opportunity to bring someone who's never been to church!
