I attended the Sunday service and can't tell you enough of how I appreciated your talk. Great style and delivery ..straight to my soul (and my gut with your jokes !). Your topic hit almost my exact thoughts as of late..that one talk could be enough for the year for me as a more simple " do unto others.." guy.

My family and I have been looking for a church for some several years now and frankly for me a pastor that is down to earth forever. I'm a preacher's kid and far from a bible stomper so you willl have a few challenges with me and some walls but will have a few laughs too and I can contribute.

You have a huge church (intimidated me at first 4 years ago (on the email list) as a midwest kid) and I doubt much time for individuals but a brief sit down would be appreciated to get me going. I also frankly am in need of a character reference from someone like you..(that is not my main motive I assure you). Family seeking to give back so to speak and me ..seeking more meaning in life having become a business man coming from a line of preachers (grandpa too) and social servants.

By the way.. nice borrowing of the bear chasing joke I use all the time (former raft guide jokes) ( ..two are walking in the woods and a bear comes...first guy bends down and tightens the laces on his sneakers.....yah de yah duh.."just have to outrun you!"@

Hey ...Great concept on the fusion thing.

I've been to the Fuse twice now, I really like it, especially how the message is given and the awesome music!
I have missed the last two weeks and will not be able to make it this upcoming weekend either because i will be up north visiting some family members.. I do hope to go back soon though because my friend Liz has taken me there and I have really come to like it very much.
Thanks again for being so welcoming ad so loving towards everyone wether they have just started with Jesus Christ or wether they are long time followers.
