“We joined our small group about a year and a half ago. We knew it was vital for us and we were committed to finding a group. In our small group, we really share our lives with one another. Our group has also been extraordinary in helping us in our marriage. We had a hard pregnancy and they were with us 100% of the time.

Being in a small group hasn’t always been perfect, but that’s what doing life together is all about. Sometimes the small group challenges you and stuff is out on the table. Couples have cried; we’ve cried. You want to be as real as possible, but real isn’t always easy. We’ve definitely learned a lot of skills through the studies that have been significant in helping our marriage grow. We sometimes say, ‘I’ve never heard you say that before’ or ‘I didn’t know that about you.’ Our small group has allowed us to communicate and get to know one another on a deeper level; the positive impact it has made in our lives is invaluable.”
