With only a couple of weeks left in our 40 Days in the Word Campaign, we are living the Word and stretching our serving muscles once again with our Micah 6:8 Projects.

If you are looking for opportunities to live the Word—we have created a list of 10 easy ways for you or your small group to start serving and get your small group connected to Micah 6:8 Projects.

  • Provide “GiveBags” for the homeless through the Breakfast Together Outreach.
  • Buy extra groceries this week for the Saddleback Food Pantry. Drop off the groceries at your local campus.
  • Help stock and organize groceries at the Saddleback Food Pantry.
  • Deliver greeting cards and/or spend time with seniors in local Board & Care homes.
  • Read to children who are part of the Gang Reduction Intervention Program (G.R.I.P.) on February 28, 2012.
  • Support our military members and their families through donations, volunteering, or sending letters and cards.
  • Paint curbs and/or hang out with neighborhood kids at the Aliso Meadows Family Fun Day in March.
  • Clean up, paint, or landscape at the Kimberly Gardens mobile home park on February 25.
  • Assist students with homework assignments and teach reading skills through the Homework Club Laguna Hills.
  • Sort recyclables with the Recycling Ministry and help turn bottles and cans into Bibles.
Go to saddleback.com/micah for more information on each of these assignments.

Once you participate in a Micah 6:8 Project, go to our 40 Days in the Word Facebook page at facebook.com/40daysintheword to share your experience!
