Hey Saddleback Rancho Capistrano! I want to start by saying how much I love you! I challenged you to take a step and invite someone to church. I asked whose life would YOU invest in. Well, since this time last year we have seen tremendous growth! We have almost doubled in size since last July! We are now welcoming nearly 1,200 people every week! How? God is moving in this church and he is using YOU to do so! That's right, God is using YOU! YOU are making a difference! We have also baptized 105 people since last July! Yes, that's right! MORE THAN 100 people have publicly announced that they belong to Jesus by getting baptized! Do you remember I said we would baptize 100 in one year? My problem was I set the goal too low! Why are these numbers so significant? It's just like Pastor Rick always says....it's because people matter! These are not just numbers--these represent people, people Jesus died for. Real life change is happening, and God's hand is CLEARLY on this church! We are talking about eternal impact and it's NO time to slow down now! Hey Saddleback Rancho Family! Last weekend was so cool! I loved getting to hang out and enjoy dinner together on Saturday night! We for sure have to do those more often; it was great seeing you connecting with each other and getting to know new people! Sunday was also a blast! Melanie is still recuperating from her c-section but was able to be there for a bit, and she was SO touched by your response to her! I have also noticed SO many new people!! You know why more and more people are coming to our church? It’s because YOU ARE INVITING THEM!! You OBVIOUSLY care so much for those around you whether it be family, friends, or coworkers because I am meeting so many new people and I LOVE IT! Keep it going!
