Decade of Destiny Update #13
Dear Saddleback Family
Can you feel the optimism and excitement in the air? People are sensing that a turn-around is coming, and God is up to something!
THIS WEEKEND and NEXT WEEKEND will undoubtedly be the two most important services of the year at Saddleback. They will set the stage for all God is going to do in your life through Decade of Destiny. Do not miss these explosive services!
I have so much exciting news to share, I’ll just make list:
1. THIS WEEKEND AT SADDLEBACK!
* The World Premiere of “TO EVERY NATION” film about how you and our church family made history through the PEACE plan. The Lake Forest worship center will be completely darkened for you to enjoy this movie.
* My message on Creating Your Spiritual Legacy
* We will honor all Veterans. Bring your dad, brother, mom, or sister and every Vet you know! I’m asking all Vets to wear your uniform as we honor you in all services.!
* Every person who’s served on a PEACE project anywhere or was a prayer or financial supporter for someone who served will be given a PEACE Ambassador Medal of Service.
2. YOUR OVERWHELMING RESPONSE!
During the past two weekends so many thousands of you have already committed to Follow God’s Financial Plan (FGFP) and to Follow God’s Health Plan (FGHP) during Decade of Destiny that I have ramped up our plans to help you in these areas in January.
After last weekend’s service, some of our Health Care Ministry and staff met with the doctors helping Saddleback create a customized plan of action that our small groups can use to promote wellness, health, and fitness. We’re so fortunate that these 3 internationally respected doctors - Dr. Daniel Amen, Dr. Mark Hyman, and Dr. Mehmet Oz volunteer their expertise.
