I thought the speaker was incredible. I was so charged up...been a long week and I was feeling a little sorry for myself...boy, God really used Nick to knock me upside my head!

The energy at the Host Gathering was incredible. I wish there was more time to visit with our table, but that was our fault for arriving too close to the start time. Worship was full of energy, Doug came and spoke (a nice surprise) and we got to hear from Pastor Rick. Nick is an incredible speaker. His passion shows--and his testimony speaks to everyone because everyone struggles with acceptance and purpose.

I am so thankful for my Church, Saddleback! I just want to share a thought I had as I was out for my morning walk today -- last night my husband and I attended Night of Worship (which we do every month!) and heard another GREAT message from Buddy -- he spoke on TRUSTing God completely, in all things. Buddy spoke about "leaning on God" --
While walking, I flashed on Nick Vujicic (who we fell in love with on Friday Night at the Small Group Host gathering) putting his head literally on his Bible to lift himself up, to an upright position, without limbs! Nick's message, too, was so powerful! These two men gave me a most wonderful visual this morning -- like I said, I am so very thankful for my Church! I put my trust in God!
