SAFE PEOPLE
Often we can be attracted to the wrong kinds of people. But, why? Many times it seems like we repeat the same pattern, picking the same kinds of people over, and over in our life, but just having a different name. Let's learn some of the traits of an UN-SAFE PERSON VS THE TRAITS OF A HEALTHY SAFE PERSON.
Generally speaking, a safe person will do the following: 1) DRAWS YOU CLOSER TO GOD 2) DRAWS YOU CLOSER TO OTHERS 3) HELPS YOU BECOME THE PERSON GOD CREATED YOU TO BE!
All of us at any given time can unplug, often it's a gradual change, we get busy at work, or rationalize saying, "OH, I'm not doing that bad". Maybe were feeling strong in our own way, saying to yourself, "OH, I got this handled, I'll never do that again!" Or maybe were just tired, exhausted from life??? The sad fact when we unplug we can, and often set ourself up for failure! IT ALL BEGINS WITH BEING REAL AND HONEST WITH YOURSELF, AND A FEW OTHER SAFE MEN!
Let's plan for success, and learn what God wants us to get, or what he wants us to learn. What ever that may be. Let's begin the year off right, changing your world one step at a time!
Questions: 1) Do you have three-four men around you that you share your soul with? 2) What are you not sharing with others? 3) Why are you not being 100% transparent with other men around you, or your wife?
The mission of MOTE is to educate men with practical, Godly principles; encourage them to be men of God; and teach them how to lead their family per God’s original design.
