We delivered two van-sized loads of sweaters that the Praise Gospel Venue Congregation has been collecting for several weeks to Hospitality House (an outreach of the Salvation Army) in Santa Ana. They were SO thankful! I'm grateful to Pastor Rick and to Saddleback for giving us the vision and the challenge to rise to the occasion. We will be doing several such "drives" to meet the needs of the homeless in 2012. Matthew 25:35-40

Was privileged to work through Saddleback San Clemente's Military Ministry and serve families who are based at Camp Pendleton. Weeding, raking, working the earth/soil, and was reminded of God's work through different seasons, and how often in Scripture he uses agricultural/nature in describing our walks (esp. pruning--ouch!). Thanks, Pastor Rick, for pushing us out there to SERVE! Was the best weekend I had in a LOOOONG time. =)

We are here...Why don't we get any of the service music any more? Also, is there anyway of putting the "bulletin" on line like the outline? How about opening another Saddleback in the Inland Empire (Redlands, Hemet, Beaumont, Banning, Yucaipa) area!!! Calvary Church has one in each of these cities now.Merry Christmas and thank you for the online services. Our son watches from Afghanistan where he is serving in the U.S. Army for the third time.
