Ten years ago, our country was forever changed. Because of the terrorist attacks on our own soil, life in America would never be the same. Join us next weekend for special services in which we will remember those who died and those who fought as a result of the attacks on 9/11. We will honor their sacrifice by celebrating our freedom and hope.
We will be joined by our daughter church, Lower Manhattan Community Church, which is located just a few blocks from Ground Zero. We will have a special time to honor those who lost their lives on 9/11, the first responders, and the servicemen and women who fought to defend our freedom in Iraq and Afghanistan. As we honor those who gave their lives, we will also celebrate the freedom and hope we have because of their sacrifices.
Join us for a time of music, message and personal testimonies of those affected by the attacks and the subequent wars. We'll hear from Pastor Rick, our own worship team, and some very special guests. Invite your family, friends and neighbors as we gather together to remember the hope we have in Christ despite the violence that was brought upon our country.
