Join an online small group and make friends from around thecountry, share the latest Saddleback studies together, follow up on weekendmessages from Pastor Rick--and have the invaluable support of a small grouphost and members who meet every week to do life together.

Last week, I was in my favorite seat at Saddleback LakeForest.  This week, I’m back in Atlanta, where I live.  But mySaddleback connection goes right on.

When my husband Bill and I moved from SouthernCalifornia to Atlanta two years ago to be closer to our son anddaughter-in-law, we knew we’d miss our church home at Saddleback most of all.

Thanks to Saddleback online, I’ve stayed connected notonly to services every weekend but enjoyed small group get-togethers for thepast two years.

On Tuesday nights, the members of our women’s smallgroup access our shared Saddleback link and spend an hour--and sometimesmore--together.  Our dedicated host directs our meeting that may beginwith a music video and then continues with greetings and chat, before we watcha video study together or review the message from the weekend before.

We always have time for shared news of the week andshared support for each other in prayer.

We may be far apart in distance--from Ontario, Canada, all the way to Orange County, CA, Washington State, Oregon, Virginia, New York,Georgia, and parts in between--but we have developed a real closeness thatjoins us in what this group means to our lives.
Two other members of my small group visited the LakeForest campus this spring, and one was baptized there by PastorRick!
For the past couple of summer months, our small grouphas been between studies.

Until we begin our next focus with new Saddleback materials this fall, we have been enjoying Tuesday nights spentgoing over the various messages from weekend services.  It’s a greatchance for us to share what we enjoyed most and how we can take the points madeby Pastor Rick and Pastor Tom and apply them to our lives during theweek.  We encourage each other and are there to help each other staycommitted to our purpose.

If you are like me and my small group friends andcan’t be there for Saddleback small groups in person, I promise you that youwill find the best connection to look forward to every week when you check outand join an online small group.

More later from here in Atlanta and our small grouponline . . .

We moved from CA almost 2 years ago and I still watch the sermon series by Pastor Rick. If anyone is open to a Friday or Saturday night group where I can be a part of the small group studies...I would be interested..

After the 2008 Presidential election it was the first i have heard about the Saddleback Church. Will like to learn more, from what i have seen thus far which is not much, Pastor Warren appears to be a realistic, humble man of God.
