If you do a search in the NIV for the phrase "make every effort" you get like 12 hits used in a variety of contexts. Peter used it a couple times, so did Paul. Jesus used it once. When I visit Saddleback's site, that's the phrase that comes to mind, "make every effort." I look at all that's going on; all the work that goes into making resources available; the continued reaching out saying, "Hey, guys what do you need?, let's stay connected," it's an on-going "making every effort." It's impressive and for me, really meets a need. It's shows you care and aren't about just building up an organization, but people.We are being bombarded every day with all kinds of stuff through media that the early church couldn't even imagine. It takes effort to push back just as hard as we are being pushed. You guys are "making every effort" through FB, Twitter and whatever else there is to reach out and push back.
