Come and dream with me for a couple sentences. What if all around the world people opened up their homes? What if all around the world people were streaming Saddleback’s Internet Campus onto their TVs? What if all around the world those homes were filled with people who would never attend a church, but would come over to a neighbor’s house?  What if this dream was possible? We believe this dream is possible, probable, doable, and just plain simple, but it takes our online community to make it happen.

The first step is having a space to host the group.
What is home to you? Is home your little studio apartment? I feel like I can say that because my wife, my son, and I were all crammed into a 700+ square foot apartment the first year of our son’s life. What I really mean to communicate is you don't need a fancy home to invite at least three of your friends over to experience the fantastic Saddleback Sunday message (it doesn't have to be Bill Murray level in Zombieland).

The second step is praying and inviting the people over to your home.
Many people will never go to church (there are millions upon millions of reasons for many), but they will come over to your place. You need to start praying about what God is going to do in your home and pray specifically for the names of people you are going to invite. The power of prayer is real, so never underestimate prayer. Then invite people from your neighborhood, your city, your work, and from your family. I think you get the point…people who need God right now are in all areas of your life!
We do live in a broken world, so exercise care when it comes to inviting  strangers!  It's wise to always have a small group together in your home with people you know and trust when also inviting people you don't know well.

The bottom line is if you have a space you own or control and have people who don’t go to church then you need to pray about opening up your place. + Spruce up your home a bit…make it an inviting space.
+ Serve snacks like cheese, chips, maybe if it’s during lunch, sandwiches, and some water or coffee.
+ Hook up your computer to your TV in your living room for a better viewing experience.  [we can help teach you this if this seems like a foreign lanague]
+ Ask friends to help you host the group, so you can delegate responsibility (the more the better)!
+ Before the service starts spend time connecting, talking about life and building relationships.
+ After the service ends ask your guests what they thought about the message and use our "Talk it Over" resource to guide a conversation.
+ Don’t forget to pray, pray as a team, and continue to pray for what God is going to do in your home!
