HSM Summer Camp is open to all students entering 9th through 12th grade in the Fall, 2011. Camp will be held at the Calvary Chapel Conference Center in Murrieta Hot Springs which is a beautiful place to have summer camp. It consists of a huge recreational field to play outdoor games, a large pool for Recreation and free time, a Roman spa, a great Starbucks style coffee shop to hang out during free time, fully furnished hotel style rooms, and natural hot springs all around the campus. Along with fun activities, students will hear from our speaker, Ron Merrell, about how the World strives to fill a void in our hearts that only Jesus can fill. They will be able to discuss what they learn in more detail with their specific cabin groups. Summer Camp is the best way to get involved in HSM, to make new friends and connect with leaders.



Things to Bring:

  • Refillable waterbottle
  • Toiletries
  • SPF +30 Sunscreen
  • Pool Towel
  • Swimsuits*
  • Summer Clothing* (It's going to be hot)
  • Bible, Pen, Notepad/Journal
  • Money for fast food lunch on the way ($5 - $10)
  • Medications (These will be given to the Medic at Check-in)

Things NOT to bring:
  • No sleeping bags or sheets are needed
  • Cell Phone, iPod, MP3 Player (We want you to connect with God and each other)
  • Drugs**, Alcohol**, Cigarettes**, Weapons**
  • Fireworks**
  • Video Games
  • Inappropriate Reading Material**
  • Your Grandmother

** If a student is found with these items we will contact their parents and request that they pick their student up from camp.

OPTIONAL Things to Bring:
  • Cards, games, water gun
  • Money for snacks and crafts ($40 should be enough)


*Dress Code
We want you to be comfortable at camp, it will be HOT so pack accordingly. Here are a few rules to follow as you plan what to bring!

Girls:No two piece swimsuits (tankini is ok as long as the top meets the bottom), No Strapless shirts, No Spaghetti straps (straps must be at least 1 inch), and modest shorts (shorts must be no shorter than the tips of your fingers when you arms are at your side). Clothing must not be too tight or see through!

Guys:No speedos or short shorts and we don’t want to see underwear hanging out of your shorts! Shirts must be worn at camp at all times, unless at the pool (including rec!). Clothing must not be too tight or see through!
