An estimated 2.5 million people are in forced labor today, due to human trafficking. The majority of victims are between 18 and 24 years old. Young children are most vulnerable to this crime. In fact, 1.2 million children are trafficked each year.
These are staggering statistics, but don't let them paralyze you. YOU can contribute to the awareness, fight against, and prevention of this crime against humanity by attending an upcoming Human Trafficking Training Program this Saturday, September 25th at 8:30am in Tent 3. The training from this workshop will enable you to:
· Identify the key characteristics of Human Trafficking.
· Understand the resources available to properly report and respond to potential Trafficking situations.
· Explore opportunities to engage the church and individuals in anti-trafficking efforts.
