ELEVATE
Elevate is a full-time residency designed for leaders who are preparing to lead a church, plant a church, or lead a multi-site campus. It is a uniquely designed to provide leadership development experiences through hands-on ministry leadership opportunities at one of Saddleback's many campus locations located throughout Southern California.
Elevate residents have access to some of the most respected church planting and multi-site experts in the country.
Elevate residents are placed at one of our recently planted multi-site campuses and paired with a campus pastor and/or a pastor who has recent church planting experience.
ELEVATE is designed for...
- Church Planters
- Church Planting Networks looking for a powerful leadership development experience for their network planters
- Multi-Site Churches looking to develop new leadership for their multi-site campuses
Residents will be engaged in at least 40-50 hours of weekly hands-on ministry leadership training and 4 hours of weekly classroom training centered on learning and developing healthy personal leadership habits, a healthy philosophy of ministry leadership, and healthy methods or ministry leadership. This combination of tacit and explicit learning combines to create a healthy leader, which is at the heart of a healthy church.
Who:
This program is designed ministers who are looking to take the next step by leading a church planter or multi-site campus.
What:
Leading- Full-time, 40-50 hour a week, un-paid residency working with a Saddleback campus pastor or planter.The emphasis will be on developing effective skills through hands-on leadership opportunities.
Learning- 4 hours of weekly class room training that develops healthy personal leadership habits, a healthy philosophy of ministry leadership, and healthy methods of ministry leadership.
Mentoring- Grow as a leader and as a disciple of Christ through a close mentoring relationship with Saddleback campus pastor or planter.
Where:
Residents will work at any of our recently planted multi-site campuses and paired with a campus pastor and/or a pastor who has recent church planting experience. Weekly training will be held at our Lake Forest campus.
When:
Tracks begin each September, January, and May.
